Before we sit down

We did our homework.

A family business from Weggis that quietly conquered the world. The Black&White series in tens of thousands of cafés and hotels, the Mastrena exclusively for Starbucks, more than 80 countries served, around 500 people in the Lucerne lake basin and roughly 80% of every component sourced in Switzerland.

In 2020 you switched on the fully automated shuttle warehouse — nine kilometres of conveyor under one roof. In June 2024 plant 5 went live in 960 days. Solid Edge talks to ERP. Software is so strategic you build it in-house. Remote service runs over the internet.

A connected machine self-reports the part that's about to fail, the firmware to push, and the spare to ship. First-time-fix goes up, truck rolls go down, and a barista in Tokyo or Zürich keeps brewing instead of waiting. Our manufacturing customers see 20–35% lower cost-to-serve within 18 months.

Targets are programme-dependent; we'll calibrate together based on Thermoplan's installed-base data.

Plant 5 set a high bar: 960 days from groundbreaking to ramp-up. The next product platform doesn't get that runway. Tight PLM ↔ MES ↔ ERP integration plus standardised data on the line typically takes 3–5 months off industrialisation for a complex assembly product like B&W.
